Welcome to BuildersArc
BuildersArc is your trusted resource for developers exploring Web3, blockchain, crypto, and emerging intersections like AI. The rapid pace of innovation often buries technical insights across scattered platforms like X, Discord, and forums. BuildersArc centralises this fragmented knowledge into a one-stop technical platform.
What is BuildersArc?
We’re building the definitive technical platform for developers interested in the Web3/blockchain/crypto space. We realised that there are no credible sites for Web2 developers to become Web3 builders like we see with: The New Stack (deep technical content with an architectural focus), InfoQ (expert-led practitioner focused content), LWN.net (detailed technical analysis with zero fluff), or even ArsTechnica (practical articles, with interesting use cases). Reputation and credibility are our calling points.
You will find deeply curated content, such as:
- Deep technical analysis of protocol upgrades (like LWN’s kernel coverage)
- System design case studies and patterns (InfoQ-style deep dives)
- Cross-chain architecture patterns (New Stack-style architecture focus)
- Security post-mortems and best practices (like LWN’s security analysis)
- Infrastructure scaling solutions (DevOps.com approach to scalability)
- Developer tooling reviews (DZone-style practical tooling focus)
- Emerging technologies in Web 3 development (AI/LLM integration, and agents are only the tip of the iceberg)
- How developments affect Web3 (Google’s Quantum computer does not affect Bitcoin, though we should always keep prepared; Solana’s hack of web3.js was quite minor, requires version pinning for developers, etc.)
Think short, yet punchy articles, with a schedule of 3 times per week, alongside longer code-first content with real solutions, deep technical dives, insights, and developer interviews. We will be visual, we will focus on analysis & benchmarks, including decoding academic papers, and we too will produce videos with code walkthroughs (but nothing too long - 6-18 minutes, backed by science on holding attention, and no longer than your average TED talk). And community matters, to help debug, optimise and learn together (beyond Discord, there will be meetups). The Stratechery model rings true here.
Here we will centralise fragmented technical knowledge, and ensure that LLMs can consume the content too. We want to accelerate learning across chains, and build communities around technical excellence. We will ensure a credible resource for Web2 developers to onboard to Web3 development, and be a trusted technical platform; there will be no trades talk, or price action related conversation. And there will be a strong ethics policy - we can take a leaf from the CoinDesk Ethics Policy, and we will never practice checkbook journalism, nor will we ever do pay-to-play articles.
Why Now?
Popular reports like a16z Builder Energy or the Developer Report once told us that Ethereum maintained 15% YoY developer growth, with Solana growing at 11.2%. We now see that Solana is the number one ecosystem for new developers! We’ve seen Base launching with Coinbase’s massive user base, and there’s plenty of building going on there. Getting past the fragmented information and no clear equivalent of credible sources like The New Stack or LWN for Web3 developers, is clearly why now makes sense.
We find that documentation struggles to stay current, and there are no real “maps” of the ecosystems, or paths to get things done. If you’re coming in new, you’re truly wondering what to do, especially if you’re not planning to be a trader. We also believe that AI will accelerate adoption and learning for builders.
In addition, we have just seen the loss of resources like Week in Ethereum, so we know that being well-funded to get things going is significant. Their parting words did say, “Ads/sponsorships were a tough sell as marketing directors do not value devs.” This is why we take a leaf from the model of The New Stack sponsors and memberships. And we will aim to fill the gap created by this loss.
